Co-Owner / Chief Administrative Officer
Ashley is Blackbird’s Co-Owner and Chief Administrative Officer. Ashley comes from a family of first responders and she has been a staunch supporter of the law enforcement effort throughout her life. She has been an integral part of the building of this company.
Ashley constructed and maintains Blackbird’s website and she manages our social media platforms in addition to her many other administrative duties.
Ashley has 17 years of experience upholding the Thin Gold Line as a Police Communications Operator since 2004. She has held certifications for Priority Dispatch protocols in Emergency Telecommunicator, Emergency Fire Dispatch, Emergency Police Dispatch, and Emergency Medical dispatch through the National Academies of Emergency Dispatch. She also currently holds a CN1 Certification through the Maryland Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services.
Ashley has hung up her PCO headset and now works full time in our local county school system as an Administrative Assistant.
